Alvin and Bethany are our 11 & 10 year old, four-legged, furry children.

Alvin, a King Charles cross Cocker Spaniel, is a snobbish do as I want kind of fellow. Very much an inside dog, he is fastidious groomer, whose worst nightmare is getting too dirty. That said, he is always up for a game of ball or a walk along the beach. Just so long that is, he doesn’t get too wet or too sandy. He is as loyal as can be, and loves the occasional cuddle, but likes to remain aloof.
Bethany, a King Charles cross Beagle (a Beagleir if you don’t mind), is the total opposite. She loves the outdoors and thinks nothing of chasing bugs, birds or even shadows for hours on end. Of an evening, she will spend a similar amount of time chasing cuddles from anyone who can put up with her rough tongue scraping layers of skin from their face. She has recently been diagnosed with liver problems, so we plan to spend as much time as we can with her.
These are our babies, our kids, and as we began to plan the trip, it was more than obvious that we wouldn’t be able to leave them behind. Of course, we realise that they will place limitations on what we can do, where we can stay and where we can go, but we figure with the right planning (there’s that word again) and plenty of patience, they’ll have as great a time as we do.

God bless them both, you would both make wonderful parents??????
